Possibly make it a single-use rocket launcher, like some in real life. Used like the grenade and the medkit, doesn't block other weapons: it's carried in the back. Firing it would take some time, maybe 1-3 seconds to avoid it being spammed. During the firing the human kneels down, aims and fires. Ma...

Yeah, if it doesn't require too much work, just making it and testing with players will show you what needs changing with it. Maybe make it do more damage against structures than against living aliens?

That cvar won't remove anything. That cvar is for skybox, in menu it's called Options->System->GFX Software-> Low quality sky Btw this map is simple in 1.1. I don't know how's it in 1.2 gpp Join aliens in gauntlet and try switching the r_fastsky on and off, the screens on aliens side will turn blac...

I like it, and it has a better use of textures/geometry than deathrun in my opinion. Try /r_fastsky 0, there might have been some other cvar that made the screens appear black.

Something like 80% of yes votes required for draw vote to pass and counting everyone who doesn't vote as a "no" vote might work. Atleast it would make the situation a lot better, less unjustified draws.

The game was progressing well. Yes, humans had a foward base near alien base, but their rc wasn't that far from being killable either. I think admitdefeat votes are in the same league of drawvotes/ changemap votes. It's not good that less than 25% of the players on the server can decide that the gam...

It's the opposite for me, if it's a 90+ minute game, there can't be that much left anymore anyway. It's a long game where players have been tearing the opposite base slowly away. I find it stupid to have all that effort go in vain by just ending it as a draw. Of course special circumstances are a th...

There is no 90-minute rule for draw votes as far as I know, I rarely let them pass only when the situation really is a stalemate, either no one is trying to finish the game or both bases are too well built around teleporters/such, meaning no one can win.

Spl@, Ams and I are all 20+, if no one lied. Also studies show that the average age of a gamer is way over 20(if you believe in studies). It's just that the noisiest guys are usualy the youngest, so you think that the server is full of 13-year-olds.

I assume it's fine because if he joined aliens, and the former participants of the tking were in the human team, them killing each others isn't a problem.

You ignore him, well I mean just don't let it affect you too much. Didn't see his post, posted almost at the same time.

I don't really see that kind of kick votes as a problem, though disallowing such votes wouldn't hurt either. That guy often complains about cancelvoting changemap/restart/draw votes late in the game, just ignore him.

I ment that reducing the triangle count is often harder than just making a whole new model especialy in this case when the model isn't that complicated. Why do you even need spikes? Asteroids don't usualy have them. They probably make unwrapping quite hard too.

I'd just make a new model, it's usualy easier than totaly reforming the old one.
