Please use private messages next time grmg when you want to teach someone a lesson like that. That way you won't be annoying everyone else on the server. I won't say what you did is the correct way to handle this, but I've to admit I too dislike people who just have to spam some colourful bind every...

How do you save the name of the demo? I probably didn't get what you mean but write it down on paper/notepad. Using the command /record YourDemoFileName creates a file YourDemoFileName.dm_70 in the folder /tremulous/gpp/demos/. I'm not quite sure where this is on linux, but you should know/be able t...

Those "light textures" are called lightmaps. Try using command /r_lightmap 1, which allows you to only see the lightmaps, textures aren't rendered(I think it's not even cheat protected in 1.1). By default, the lightmaps have a low resolution( otherwise the .bsp file would be huge ). Something like 1...

Grab Ingar's NetRadiant for your OS. Netradiant Tremmapping A lot of basic basic info about mapping in trem and links to other tutorials. Basic use of the map editor is pretty much the same in all idtech3 based games, so you can mostly use tutorials from games like quake3/jedi outcast/etc. There are...

While that doesn't look like an acceptable behaviour, we can't tell from the screenshot what happened before it was taken. Any idea what caused this or did he just start doing it out of the blue? Also, try playing with /cl_autorecorddemo 1, that way it will automaticly record a demo from every game ...

1) While I'm not a fan of the mentioned maps, people still like to play them. Which in the end is all that matters. 2) Nod pretty much said all there was about this. If we allowed every change map vote, we'd never finish any games. If it's a long game where no one is making progress, call a vote to ...

After you get a leak during the compile process, a red line should appear in the map that shows you where the leak is. If it doesn't show up, open the file menu and choose pointfile from there. After that you should see the redline. And for the textures, in you [yourmap].pk3, make a new directory in...
