However, use of that name is a bit foolish: it invites admin attention and may cause confirmation bias.

I did notice this in #rcz, though:
helloworld2 (~Meisseli@Rizon-81BAE3D2.dhcp.inet.fi) has joined #rcz

Now, I do know that meisseli.ddos is a – shall we say – rather good player. I suggest registration and a simple identity check; it should help to avoid this kind of ban, if indeed this one is in error, in future.

I've had a brief discussion with Tremulant.ddos (NA1 admin) by way of checking up on the info gathered from #rcz. At present, I'm reasonably sure that:
ⓐ it was in fact Meisseli.ddos (based on information received); and
ⓑ (quoting Tremulant) “he's been a silly boy and should choose names more wiselyâ€￾.

As things stand, I expect to be lifting the ban later today. I'm leaving it right now largely becausse of ⓑ. (But if it's removed sooner, fine; I won't complain.)
