For example my home connection is 100Mbit down but only 5Mbit up.

Lol, make it more clear.
mb = MB or Mb? Megabytes or megabits?
Download is 256 KB or what?

My informatics teacher in 6-th grade told me a way to know whether it it megabytes or megabits.
If M is big one - then it means the bigger unit (Megabyte).
If m is small one - then it's the smaller unit (megabit).
If you didn't know - 1 Megabyte = 8 megabits. So megabit is smaller than megabyte.

You dont know the magic word please?
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE Rota
The nodding of the head once to symbolize a greeting, cuz we white folk to damn lazy to open our mouths and speak up. Nods are also easier to shake off than a flase "hello".
"Person nods at you", or your direction, "you nod back"
