I have no idea about how map-making really works, but - you can't just take the atcs you have? I mean, isn't it all there? Just rename it to "...zip" and you can see all the files in it. What's missing for someone to alter this map?

There is only .bsp (bsp - u need it to play) not .map (.map - u need it for remake) so.... i do not fully understand map making too, i just made one map, it was easy, but more problematic things are unknown for me :D
so - if someone send me .map of atcs, i should be able to make it.

i can uncompile atcs.bsp to atcs.map but all textures are moved and you will need to remove all textures of the map manually

1. Open Cmd (Run --> Cmd)

2. Type this in:
"C:/Program Files/Gtkradiant 1.5.0/q3map2.exe" -convert -format map -game trem "Directory where your .bsp is."
3. in the same directory where your .bsp file was, there is a converted .map file.

4. if your textures are gone, look in the same PK3 (open with ZIP) of the map, and open the map Textures, and copy that to C:/Program Files/Tremulous/Base/Textures.

5. open GTKradiant and open the .map file

Voila
