snowvalley is basicly an experiment, which did show some interesting results. The map is going to bei improved by adding an underground part, basicly simulating some human base in deep antarctica, I will see what I can do about snow, since it chews up 90% of cpu if you do a full scale snowfall.
next version will not have whitte dretch included, unless we will get a pureserver fix.

The 8 fps is caused by a huge amount of buildables on the map. the whole map was not vis portalled, and there was no point to do so (its just a cube). Hence at any time you was looking at everything on the map. which is why I had a drop of 70% of fps myself.
On the other hand, it is quite strange that jets were so attracted to the fog I will try to do something with an even higher vis reduction at a higher grounds, so everything will be in a distance of tyrant slash.
Already started on the map, just completely reworking it now, since there is no real point to try to continue the current setup.
As for the white dretch, it is a pure server bug, and its up to you, Rota, to either leave it, but at this moment the simplest fix is just to kill the pk3.
