Well, use yours Spl@ :D

Again:

Anyone here knows anything about computer simulated neural networks?
I'm serious, no gay-spamming.

I want to test available (free or hmmm... "free" :D) "neural networks" in 4 areas and need some basic info where to start.

1. Speech or rather - transcripts analyzing - to find recurring patterns to determine most probable current state of the subject reaserched.
2. Prediction (probability of event occuring) based on available data.
3. Text analyzing - finding probable lies using text input of conversation.
4. Possibility of organizing SETI-home-like project (with consent of the users or without it) to achieve greater "think-power".

BTW: I don't get that joke in your sig :D

The nodding of the head once to symbolize a greeting, cuz we white folk to damn lazy to open our mouths and speak up. Nods are also easier to shake off than a flase "hello".
"Person nods at you", or your direction, "you nod back"

Dude. Seriously. That stuff, whatever it is, what you are trying to implement, requires a BARE minimum of bachelor degree in Computer Science. However, even with that degree nobody would actually allow you to code that stuff and would require a Masters degree in Computer Learning.

Basically, I know what are neural nets, how do they work, and even experimented with simple text recognition net (kohonen neural net). However, I still feel being such a total noob when it comes to neural nets, like a student when he hears about Theory of Relativity for the first time in his life.

So, try to find/buy some book on Computer Learning (thats the official name of the science you want to master), and reread that book 3 times.

I have no reason not to believe you, since you seem to know some ways of the computer "insides". But as usual I am me, so... :D
