This infection causes Humans to take damage every second. The infection spreads if a Human who is infected comes into contact with someone else who is not infected. The Biokit provides some resistance to alien infection.

So its like poison from booster with addition of spreading. Cool idea. But imo it should be carefully balanced or countered or a lot of medicamp will ensure. Consider ATCS: side entrance and ramps, you just got healed, now u go get healed again not to waste medi in base.
