I just saw a player freeze while running - his connection lagged. He was moving again soon after. But people would dignify lag (and not to kill someone while he's lag-frozen) more if they had an indicator other than the player just not moving. It happens even that someone was standing still before the lag started, and it's easy to kill someone then before realizing that they were incapacitated.
I bet it's reasonably easy to find out if the connection is temporarily blocked. And I propose to display an icon then, maybe just the chat-icon (smilie).
(And sorry for "spamming" the forum.)
When player has lagfreeze, show chat icon.

I don't insist on that icon. I just thought of it for simplicity.
The optimal way would be to have a second icon. Maybe something with a diagonal red cross through a LAN connector or something. Something that jumps at you.
Actually... I wonder. Maybe someone with a lag could even be invulnerable. This idea, however, might be bad in a way which I can't currently see.
