One more suggestion about mines
Fake mine costs 50-100 creds and makes damage 25 or less (or no damage).
Fake nade costs 50, maybe 20-30 creds and cause no damage. only BOOM sound.

Quarko: I think you not. Maybe first time, second time, and then no, its too much work for nothing - buy, place, buy, place... Mine is good when alien not see it. If not see it and step on it = death warning. If see it, then he step on it carefully or not at all and send dretch.
But fake mine - if he not see it - nothing happen, because it not hurt. If see it, then same like with normal mine, but nothing happen.

Currently I always buy nades to use them as fake mines, and it works as hell!
Idea is very simple:
You are going to rush alien base with... lets say luci and several humans. You succesfully kill some tubes, some dretches, maybe some goons. Now you are all totally wounded and are going to return to base. Only problem is - you hear the sound of incoming tyrant, and you have no mines left (used to kill some goon or something).
So, you are 100% sure, 1 rant can kill all of you. What will you do?
Currently, I start running away and drop a nade in most visible place. Rant that didn't see how I dropped it, will notice the 'mine' and stop running after us. Yes, nade will explode in 5 seconds, but 5 seconds is totally enough to make it to base.
Now, if we have fake mines... then everything will become MUCH easier for humans.
They will be able to place them almost everywhere, and aliens will not be able to rush at all, waiting for dretches to unmine the fake mines.
Goons wont be able to snipe, rants wont be able to rush, and tonns of dretches will be constantly disarming the mines.
So I say this situation sucks.

The mines have a delay before they react, right? How much is it, two seconds or more?
