Faulty logic there. You're forgetting the portability, which more than offsets that. I could equally well say that a desktop computer uses more electricity so it's just a waste of cash…Anyway notebook has limited power so it's just waste of cash.

What are you complaining about? You can buy small netbookish keyboards for desktop boxes.I think PC is better for gaming but i hate these big keyboards
Not sure about that last bit. Laptops use quite a bit less: desktop boxes can be a bit power-hungry, particularly CPU & GPU, and external monitors tend to use more than laptop display panels.Redemption wrote:lol desktop on a bus. now that's on my top ten things to see list.
lol i can't stop laughing and yes i think computers are a waste of money. whether it being a laptop, desktop, or kindle. all of them waste almost the same amount of enegry at the end of the year.
Was always going to happen: marketing ("Be a good little consumer. You need this. Buy it." "Meh. Yes. Meh.") and we've got better at doing more with less power.and the more it gets smaller the more it gets money wise. for example check out the phones we have now. the guy who invented the moblie phone only thought of telephoning someone not to become a mini computer of itself.
