Lets make S4 and humans to get moth ball gun. It has a 4 shot clip, 2 shots per second, 5 second reload, 2 clips. It should shoot moth balls that bounces around and starts to poison everything should be poisoned, with 4 damage per second, after the first bounce and evaporates completely after 10 seconds. The effective radius should shrink as the moth ball evaporates. Once a poisoned alien leaves the effective radius, it should continue to receive damage for 5 seconds. All moth balls should be accounted for separately, eg. you are poisoned by moth ball one and after 5 seconds moth ball 2, so first moth ball 1's effect wears out and then moth ball 2's.
Maximum damage from a single moth ball to a single entity: (10 + 5) * 4 = 60, maximum damage from all moth balls to a single entity is 60 * 4 * 2 = 480.
Humans should also have a gas mask that protects humans from their own moth balls and also from basilisk gas but doesn't provide any protection.
