I haven't found any rule against it but still its pretty annoying that guy comes in and advertise with quake.

is it even legal?
also he's pretty rude but nvm...

Advertising falls into the category: Don't be an idiot

It isn't prohibited, unless the person is being a persistent bastard largely advertising it to everyone.

Long thing short: Not forbidden, unless it annoys people.

If he was public spamming "COME TO ME QUAKE SERVER!" again and again, that's a problem. But it looks like he was interacting-ish to other people.

Dude he is not spamming it. Quake is awesome(childhood game)
I tried to play quake co op with lava (: but i have problems with darkplaces.

Ye i know its awesome. All i want to say is that its annoying when some1 come into the server with nick like "i will play another game" .
