D.A.M.N. Lucifier Cannon!

It's the ONLY thing that can damage invincible alien bases (forget grenades, once aliens move everything to ceiling, they only waste 200 credits for tiny damage), costs an arm and a leg, can't kill ANYTHING unless you have skill, bleeds!

luci, luci ---> lose lucis ---> camp to get lucis ---> repeat

Solution: FISHING cannon! Should be a cheap (150 creds or so) rapid fire cannon that shoots tiny fishing lines with harpoons at end of them at once. Harpoons should deal a minuscule damage (about 10) to them, but once you've hooked some structures, you can rip them off the ceiling. Once on ground, the structures will continue functioning, but will be easier target for grenades and conventional weapons. It shouldn't be able to move structures that are already on ground though. The harpoon does not deal any damage to aliens and only has 5 shots, but you can have several structures hooked at once.

P.S. If it seems that the cannon requires no skill to use, acid tubes could need 1 harpoon hooked into them to rip them off and hives 2, or it could have only 3 or even 2 shots. But I'm sure this can be balanced.

Weird idea. Also , nade+mine is deadly combination for A base.
All u need to do is suicide. You pick nade,mine and lucisuit, go to A base and just lucijump into middle of it , throwing nade and mine (+full luci charge) on om.
If you manage to get into A base its done in most cases.
All you need is guts to suicide 2200 creds.
I remember the time I've took with me to grave 5 eggs , OM and some hives when A base was perfectly fine and it was one of those never ending 60 mins game.(pity i dont have a demo).
Anyways, you underrate power of nade.

P.S. Is there an award for biggest number of new threats in month lamefun?

5 eggs that weren't on ceiling because they didn't deconstruct it because there are a lot of BP anyway?

Actually luci jump in ATCS is one of the hardest because ground and ceiling in bases r so close that u can easy block it with placing one rock on both of those surfaces.
In most of maps you can manage some good lucijump.

Thats why u need guts to try it and also a little bit of skill to dodge eventually camper. Also it don't have to success every time, but if it does it is worth those 3 past fails.

This one was at ATCS when i managed to jump above rocks luckily.
3 eggs above om and 2 next to it, mine on ceiling eggs,nade on ground eggs and full luci at om, thats the way.

Expensive toy is running with lucisuit and trying to kill something.
I don't say it has to be all the times but most of cases its by this scenario:
You run with your lucisuit, spam full luci into A base from outside, maybe spam another full luci by getting a bit closer for more acc, and then(or in the middle of this process) you get killed by rant whore. So u don't kill nothing and in best case u r returning to base to reload and repeat.

surely? i dont think so. Mine is sticky and also is detonating when it should and its worth some creds, but i think it deals more dmg then nade.

Splat - Mine is proximity and detonates after one second

A goon can die instantaneously, but it can as well trigger the mine so that it has "only" lost 150hp
