No, it's really what the title says: Instead of running around as dretch, run around as an acid tube or hive! You'll shoot automatically when humans are near. You can of course wall-walk. Maybe even jump, that might be necessary in some map situations (think the electric room in Highrise).
Imagine being a human that is suddenly surrounded by three players who are acid tubes. Not good!
Sound and behaviour should be exactly as we're used to. The only difference really is that the buildings are moving - and these movements are controlled and viewed first person by players.
This is really a great mod idea that gives a totally new aspect to Trem. And it opens tons of new possibilities:
Where to stop?
I mean... can you play an army of overminds?
And why stop there?
Make it so that buildables can hurt other buildables (acid tube hurts human buildings, mgturret hurts alien buildings) - AND THEN PLAY A WHOLE GAME WITH TWO LIVING BASES!
