Funserver news

25.6.2011
- added acid bomb (graphic by Iltavuo)
- turned on cg_bounceparticles

14.11.2010
- changed score for building flowers and bricks (+0 score)
- xmas version graphic for some buildables and BSuit

2.11.2010
- new scoring system:

Killing enemy alien structures:
overmind +60 score
egg +20 score
acid +5 score
hive +5 score
booster +5 score
trapper +3 score
bush +3 score
others +1 score

Killing enemy human structures:
reactor +60 score
telenode +20 score
turret +5 score
tesla +5 score
DCC +3 score
armoury +3 score
medistation +3 score
others +1 score

Teamkilling:
teamkill structure: -5 score

Building:
new structure: +2 score
deconstructing structure: -2 score

Player killing:
without changes

And smoke was added to flare.

11.7.2010
- changed game from base to funko
- fixed: plank was usable object (like armoury for example)
- fps boost was turned off. If you want more fps, type this into console:
cg_rotaxFPS_BOOST 1
It can cause bigger lag when you leaving on entering rooms, so you can disable it:
cg_rotaxFPS_BOOST 0
- shotgun have reload sound (superpie mod)
- mass driver glowing green again (superpie mod)
- adv dragoon barb have splash effect (superpie mod)
- adv dragoon barb emitting acid (wolfbr mod)
- golden battlesuits (from B166ER)
- aliens have crosshairs (if you have default hud) (superpie mod)
- lucifer cannon shot emitting sparks (superpie mod)
- lucifer cannon have default shot look
- construction kit have high quality texture without space on left side (superpie mod)
- players will drop acid/blood to floor (wolfbr mod)
- flare doing more damage
- new effects with weapons: blaster, rifle, shotgun, mass driver (Matrix ;) ), chaingun. (wolfbr mod almost all)
- new smoke for basilisk (wolfbr mod)
- new alien buildable: Jump Pad
- poisoned human have cloud above head

31.5.2010
- giving free credits/evos for two minutes playing was changed. It working in SD and even when player die.

13.5.2010
- higher fps with many buildables around than before (by Gimhael)

12.5.2010
- fixed ignore sound
- fixed spectator chatbubblle follow bug
- fixed spectator teamchat sound follow bug
- all buildables will explode to small relevant pieces when they are destroyed (only armoury and tree remain same)
- other fixes

- bamboo reflecting pulse rifle and lucifer cannon shots
- decreased mine damage (adv Dragoon will survive)

- reed was changed for giant tree (solid only to half height due to some another stupid engine limitation)
- added death animations to human funserver buildables
- added building animations to alien funserver buildables
- OM/RC limit reverted to standard tremulous
- added pain sounds to alien funserver buildables
- layouts can be loaded only when map have first letter capitalized (Atcs, Niveus...), it is not default anymore.

22.2.2010
- /callvote delay (will delay SD by 10 minutes)
- public voting (show who voted YES a who NO)

Nice, but nobody will know about this feature and how to use it :(

It should be in the ingame info, but I think nobody use it anyways.

I've just thought of a neat way to teach basecamp-luci-spammers a lesson :P Granger gang for the win!

The only thing I am worried about is what to do with bamboo-spammers? :P
Usually bamboo-forests could be cleaned fast with luci shots. And now... nades? flamer? I'm guessing bamboo spam will start now :D

Yes, grenade, mine, psaw or luci splash damage will be good. But bamboowall without spaces is rarely seen.

Yes, and only Dretches can kill this Advanced Tyrant, so he's going to make a HL style Gracity Gun to grab Dretches and shoot Advanced Tyrants.

AFAIK, simple Tyrants can also damage Advanced Tyrants. So the other way to kill them is to develop a tactical solution to make Tyrants damage their teammate Advanced Tyrants.
Great idea by the way, brings much more challenge to the game.
